Thatcher Law Firm is a boutique employment litigation firm representing employers and employees. Our lawyers represent both plaintiffs and defendants, so our clients benefit from our experience on both sides of employment cases. We give our corporate clients the same personal attention and dedication that a small firm provides to its individual clients. We also provide our individual clients with legal resources which are usually only available to large corporations. We also represent both our employer and employee clients at arbitrations and mediations.

We are a regional firm representing clients in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. The firm’s managing partner, Linda Hitt Thatcher, has more than 30 years of experience resolving employment disputes for employees and employers alike. She has consistently received Washingtonian’s Top Lawyer Award since 2007. Ms. Thatcher began her career in employment law in the late 1980s, and she founded Thatcher Law Firm in 1996. Her credo is straightforward: “We are dynamic, direct and effective in all we do.”
