We are a boutique employment litigation firm representing employers and employees. What makes Thatcher Law Firm unique is that we are both a plaintiffs’ firm and a defense firm. The firm’s managing partner, Linda Hitt Thatcher, has consistently received Washingtonian’s Top Lawyer Award since 2007. Ms. Thatcher has more than 30 years of experience resolving employment disputes on behalf of employees (plaintiff) and employers (defense) alike. She began her career on the management side of employment law in the late 1980s and founded Thatcher Law Firm in 1996.

We are a regional firm representing clients in Maryland, the District of Columbia and the Washington metropolitan area. We keep our overhead low, compared to national firms, and our cases leanly staffed, achieving cost-savings for our clients without sacrificing quality.
