Sarah M. Burton has experience in a broad variety of litigation matters including, workers' compensation, personal injury, family law, criminal law and general civil litigation. She has successfully represented clients throughout the Maryland Court system, as well as before administrative agencies, including the Workers Compensation Commission and the Motor Vehicle Administration.
Prior to joining the Thatcher Law Firm, Ms. Burton successfully represented both claimants and employers before the Workers' Compensation Commission. She has also represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters and both plaintiffs and defendants in general litigation matters.
A 2007 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Ms. Burton is licensed to practice law before the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. She graduated in 2004 from the University of South Carolina with a major in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology.
