Christopher Susie has experience in employment matters including discrimination cases and cases involving enforcement of restrictive covenants, civil rights litigation, commercial litigation, products liability litigation and personal injury litigation. He has successfully handled cases in the Maryland and Federal Court systems, including jury trial experience.
Before joining the Thatcher Law Firm, Mr. Susie represented both individuals and businesses as both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a variety of litigation related practice areas. This experience allows Mr. Susie to analyze cases from the point of view of both sides, enabling him to provide clients with a realistic analysis of their cases while remaining committed to zealous advocacy on behalf of his clients. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Susie taught Latin at the secondary level in Alexandria, Virginia. His teaching experience contributes to his ability to explain relevant legal concepts to clients in plain language.
A 2005 graduate of the George Mason University School of Law, Mr. Susie is licensed to practice law before the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. He graduated magna cum laude in 2000 from the Catholic University of America with a major in Latin and Classical Humanities and minors in Spanish and Philosophy. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
