Arthur J. Luzarraga is an experienced trial attorney, with a particular emphasis in the area of workers' compensation defense. He has successfully litigated cases before the Workers' Compensation Commission and numerous appeals to Circuit Courts throughout Maryland. Mr. Luzarraga has represented Maryland Employers in his capacities as House Counsel and Panel Counsel to Wausau, Nationwide, Liberty Mutual, and CNA Insurance Companies.
Prior to joining the Thatcher Law Firm, Mr. Luzarraga successfully represented both claimants and employers before the Workers' Compensation Commission. He has also represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters and both plaintiffs and defendants in general litigation matters. Mr. Luzarraga has presented workers compensation seminars to employers and insurance companies, is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Maryland Accident Insurance Fund, and serves on their Special Appeal Board deciding matters of policy coverage.
