The Thatcher Law Firm's managing partner, Linda Hitt Thatcher, has been named one of "Washington's Top Employment Lawyers" three times by Washingtonian magazine in 2007, 2009 and 2011. She has over 30 years experience as a successful trial attorney, representing clients in employment and school law cases. Wayne Wiseman, of counsel to the firm, has been lead attorney on more than 100 jury trials as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney. His New York criminal defense practice earned him an acquittal rate of more than 75 percent. Mr. Wiseman also handles civil litigation matters, and has experience representing clients in EEOC mediations and with wage claim issues.
Robert Baror works closely with Linda Thatcher in handling primarily employment defense cases, as well as meritorious plaintiffs' cases. Mr. Baror brings a background in health law to his practice of employment law. He is also the author of multiple articles on employment law, appearing in the magazines of the Federal Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. As a cum laude graduate of Harvard University and the Cardozo School of Law, where he served on the Law Review, Mr. Baror brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice of employment law. In addition to his work as an employment attorney, Mr. Baror consults with many clients on corporate issues and intellectual property questions.
Charles Schultz is an invaluable part of our workers' compensation team working in defense of employers and their insurance companies, self-insured employers and injured workers throughout Maryland. He practices before the Workers' Compensation Commission and at every level of appellate review. Mr. Schultz, while in law school at the University of Baltimore, was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Journal, and also has experience in civil litigation involving torts of all kinds.
